Tucked away near the coast of eastern North Carolina is a picture perfect community, complete with world-class club amenities while still maintaining the charm and ease of a small hometown. The Murphy family, local developers of whom several are residents themselves, envisioned this community to be an active and vibrant part of eastern North Carolina. In the beginning, they promised to incorporate an 18-hole golf course, fitness center and a clubhouse.
Since the community’s start in 1996, the developers have delivered two 18-hole golf courses, a clubhouse, a fitness center with several fitness classes, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, walking/biking trails and venues for several diverse social groups. In all that they do, the Murphy family strives to exceed expectations and deliver more than they promised. For the past 20 years, the country club has been a living testament to that promise.
